These autumn flowering
bulbs enjoy a rich soil in part shade. The large flowers are followed by equally large, glossy leaves in the spring.
A delicate, incongruous
beauty; a real talking point for the autumn garden.
Colchicums enjoy drought, so add plenty of grit as you plant the
giant bulbs approx 5" below the soil surface.
Then just wait for the magical blooms to appear...
